How To Get Android Lollipop UI On Any Android Device Without Installing Any Custom ROM

The biggest problem with many of the android phone is the term Software Update. In most of the cases if a phone is a year old then the device doesn't get any software update. So, in this tutorial, i am going to explain to you how to completely  change your old android version's UI or interface into latest Android lollipop which includes a complete change from status bar icons to recent apps bar and from notification drop down to switcher.

Step 1: Root access
This is the most important step and the most mandatory step to having a Root Access. Nowadays rooting has become much easier and had become less risky you can root your device by using many of the top rooting software like Kingoroot, Vroot or Iroot , Root genius etc.

Rooting Procedure: 

  • Go the settings menu.
  • Scroll down and you will find "About Phone".
  • Go to about and scroll down and you will find "Build number".
  • Touch Build number Seven times and you will get a toast "you are a developer".
  • Go back and you will find that there is a "Developer option" above "About Phone".
  • Go to Developer option and enable Usb debugging.
  • Download any of the above mention Rooting Software and the follow their steps your phone will get root access.

Step 2: Xposed  Framework and module
Download Xposed Framework from Here 
  • Install Xposed Framework.apk
  • Then in framework option, Xposed will ask you to update Xposed 
  • Update Xposed 
  • Reboot

Download Hk Themer from Here
  • Install Hk themer 
  • Then Xposed will ask you to Activate the module.
  •  Then go to Xposed framework > Modules > Activate hk themer then reboot your device 
  • Then Download lollipop theme from Here
  • Install the theme
  • Open hk themer and you will find a Theme Click apply
  • Then set theme 
  • Then Full update with reboot
  • After Reboot, you will find that your device's Interface has changed into lollipop 
  • If you want to go back to your old interface then press "Use Default UI" and reboot
  • Sometimes there is no themes shown in that case press refresh 
  • if after refreshing not showing any theme then go to hk themer setting >search option > Then Enable search cm theme,data search,system search(if enabled no need to do anything).
